About Us

Eddie Quintana, LCSW, MS in Criminal Justice and Social Work

Eddie is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the mental health field for over 20 years. He received his double master degree’s from Loma Linda University in Southern California. Eddie completed his internship and pre-licensure hours throughout many settings, such as group homes, the prison system, psychiatric hospitals, and community-based non-profits. He has experience managing large programs and overseeing a staff of his own.

Eddie has been humbled to work in a variety of different roles, settings, and with people of different diagnosis. He has experience working with families, couples, and individuals who struggle with severe, moderate, and mild mental health challenges. His clients have sought support through addiction, suicide, depression, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, eating disorders, compulsion and psychotic disorders. He has worked with children, teens, young adults, adults, and the elderly. Eddie spent many years helping families with special needs (i.e. Autism, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). Throughout his many years, he has gained experience supporting people with different challenges and he describes it as ”most rewarding.”

On his free time, Eddie enjoys watching all his Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers play. He often goes camping with his family to enjoy a change of scenery and relax. Eddie attributes his success to his dad.

Mercedes Quintana, LAADC-CA, NTP, MS in Addiction Counseling

Mercedes graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling. As she noticed her own digestive symptoms recurring and no answers from conventional medicine, Mercedes sought out nutritional therapy and experienced the benefits of Nourishing Traditions and work of Dr. Weston A. Price. Mercedes finally experienced relief from finding the root cause, and as result pursued a certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

Mercedes works with clients addressing foundational gut issues that support nutrient absorption. Her passion for the Weston A Price principles influences her work with children, teens, and adults. Mercedes provides education on how to prepare food the traditional way, while also blending in realistic need for convenience. She is passionate about supporting families in providing nutrient dense foods to support overall health which also includes eczema, immune system support, behavioral concerns, and even fatigue.

Mercedes’ favorite nutrient dense food is eggs, and will test any eggs benedict dish! On her free time, she enjoys camping with her family and playing outdoor games. She loves supporting local farmers for fresh produce, dairy, and meats.
