Mercedes Quintana, LAADC-CA, NTP, MS in Addiction Counseling

Mercedes is a highly accomplished individual, having graduated with a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. However, despite her achievements, she found herself struggling with recurring digestive symptoms and was disappointed with the lack of answers provided by conventional medicine. It was then that she came across the fascinating field of nutritional therapy and discovered the benefits of Nourishing Traditions and the work of the renowned Dr. Weston A. Price.
With this newfound knowledge, Mercedes was finally able to identify the root cause of her symptoms and achieve much-needed relief. She was so moved by her experience that she decided to pursue a certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, enabling her to help others who are also struggling with similar issues. In addition to her work as a practitioner, Mercedes is also a dedicated blogger, sharing her expertise on holistic nutrition and wellness through her highly informative and engaging Wellness and Holistic Nutrition Blog.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Mercedes works with clients addressing foundational gut issues that support nutrient absorption. Her passion for the Weston A Price principles influences her work with children, teens, and adults. Mercedes provides education on how to prepare food the traditional way, while also blending in a realistic need for convenience. She is passionate about supporting families in providing nutrient-dense foods to support overall health, including eczema, immune system support, behavioral concerns, and even fatigue.
Mercedes’ favorite nutrient-dense food is eggs; she will test any eggs benedict dish! She enjoys camping with her family and playing outdoor games in her free time. She loves supporting local Temecula Valley farmers for fresh produce, dairy, and meats.
